Developments Yesterday

Yesterday we had two "big" developments:

* Joaquin finally starting finding Peek-A-Boo hysterical.

* He fell asleep on his own in his bouncy chair while I took a shower (rather than scream at me to get out and pick him up).

About Me

Melissa: I'm a 35 year old wife of 11 years to the love of my life, Jay. We decided we were ready to start a family in July of 2009 and were thrilled to find out I was pregnant on Labor Day of 2009. Unfortunately, that pregnancy ended at 9 weeks. For the next 5 months we grieved the loss of our first baby while trying, yet again, and hoping for a better outcome. On March 11, 2010, we found out I was pregnant again. I created this blog as a way to keep family and friends informed of the happenings in the pregnancy and to document the emotional roller coaster we've been riding. We are thrilled to have welcomed our son, Joaquin, to the world on October 27, 2010. We decided to start trying for a second child in late 2011 and found out we were pregnant fairly quickly, only to experience another miscarriage. Happily, it didn't take long to get pregnant again and we welcomed our daughter, Noemi Rebecca, to the world on December 16, 2012. After taking a few years off, we decided we were ready for baby #3 and found out we were expecting on Thanksgiving day, 2016 and are expecting a baby boy on or around August 4th, 2017. Now, we can't wait to see what new adventures are in store for us.
